Allan followed beside Mephis into the corridor, looking over at Mephis with a smirk and a side-eye as he shook his head. "As if," he said before also laughing and kissing Mephis, because he could really only keep the dramatics up for so long without planning a bit ahead. The plan-aheads were always fun, though, what with even more dramatics and actually getting no kisses for the rest of the day but getting a whole lot at the end when he was desperate for them - "We are, you're right about that one, aren't you," he chuckled, "but I was actually talking about, um, oh, I dunno, like the really fancy melons we got that one time? Y'know, the square watermelons and those uhhh 'King' melons that were supposedly really rare in Japan but they actually tasted really good?" Why was it always melons that were more expensive? Oh, and yes, his outfit - what little of it there was - was 1000% Space Gucci. (edited)

"Well, it's also cherries and grapes and... I read somewhere there used t'be somethin' like a thousand variaties of apple on Earth before they fucked the planet, with different flavours and colours n'all... Maybe we could replicate 'em, but it wouldn't be the same." Not just because it would be a mere approximation of the flavour, but because the rarity of the apples was part of the appeal. There was a certain pleasure to experiences you knew you were only going to get once in your life. Perhaps that was why love was rare and fleeting? Then, he supposed, he was lucky to be able to enjoy it. As the two fruits talked fruits, they walked down the corridor and eventually entered #turbolift-one .

After recycling his mug, Alizati made his way down the corridor towards the lift, Furberus still wrapped around his arms.

T'lai walked towards the lifts, brushing nonexistent dust off of their pristine clothing. Despite their casual attire they were still as well put together as they always were.

"Yeah, I think I told a guy about Bandit once and he thought we were crazy for having a creature we constantly took care of just because, can't remember the species he was for the life of me though," he said as he was led out into the corridor. He couldn't remember mostly because he was incredibly drunk when that conversation took place, yet he clearly remembered that the guy was an excellent kisser. Actually, that was a huge hint as to- "Oh, maybe - I think he was Denobulan, actually, now I think about it."

There was a distant brief meta-chuckle at the fact that the last reply was posted at 4:20 pm. "Really? Denobulans? Honestly, don't know much about 'em, except all the polyamory. They're such a social species from what I've 'eard - you'd think they'd bond with animals, too, but maybe all the animals on their planet are dangerous or somethin'. I know Terran animals are actually pretty harmless compared to some places, and I don't just mean the domesticated ones like Bandit." As they talked, they entered #cpt-mo﹢cdr-allen .
